Well, I haven't written a post for so long that, I forgot to write about the third season of SJA! Now, I'm back with new SJA news coming out of SJA front. Now I'm here giving out the news. Here it goes!
Sarah Jane returns to CBBC for two further series of adventures
From the BBC Press office…
CBBC Controller Damian Kavanagh has commissioned two new series (24 x 30-minutes) of hugely successful Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures, which will see the intrepid investigative journalist and her gang of young sidekicks continue to enthral children for the foreseeable future.
Created by Russell T Davies, and featuring one of Doctor Who’s most famous companions, Sarah Jane Smith, The Sarah Jane Adventures is made by BBC Cymru Wales and has been a huge hit on CBBC since its debut in 2007, with viewing figures continuing to grow year on year.
The fourth series, set to air this autumn, will again star Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane. Young actors Tommy Knight, Daniel Anthony and Anjli Mohindra return as popular regulars Luke, Clyde and Rani.
The new adventures will feature the usual mixture of thrills, scares and fun with enemies old and new, including the terrors of the Nightmare Man, the sinister Shansheeth, the series’ first visit to an alien world, and even a dangerous journey back into history.
The series will go into production in Cardiff later this month with series three producer Nikki Wilson stepping up alongside Russell T Davies as executive producer and new producer Brian Minchin joining the team.
Damian Kavanagh says: “We are thrilled to be making many more episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures.
“It is been a huge ratings and critical success on CBBC and we hope our viewers are going to be hooked on Sarah Jane’s action-packed adventures for some time to come.”
BBC Wales Head of English Language Programmes, Clare Hudson, says: “The idea for The Sarah Jane Adventures sprang from the success of Doctor Who and it has since rocketed in popularity in its own right, thanks to the vision, talent and hard work of the show’s brilliant cast and crew.”
The fifth series will go into production in 2011 for transmission later that year.
Writers on the fourth series include Phil Ford (also co-producer), Joseph Lidster, Rupert Laight, Gareth Roberts and Clayton Hickman.
The Sarah Jane Adventures is a BBC Cymru Wales/Children’s BBC Production.

New SJA Season 3 Reports!
The most update report came from the BBC itself today and here's the news on that:
Part Two follows at the same time on the following day, here's the synopsis:Investigative journalist Sarah Jane Smith, one-time companion to The Doctor, is back for a third series of alien-busting adventures, from creator Russell T Davies, which also features a special appearance from The Doctor himself, David Tennant, who stars in two episodes.
Sarah Jane is accompanied by her adopted son, his streetwise pal, Luke,Clyde Langer, their schoolmate, Rani, who lives opposite and has aspirations to become a journalist like Sarah Jane, and their Xylok super computer in the attic, Mr Smith. Sarah Jane's robot dog, K-9, also joins the gang on their adventures.
In the first of this two-part adventure, Sarah Jane and the gang face the most dangerous day of their lives, as the rhino-like Judoon return. When prisoner Androvax the Destroyer crash-lands on Earth, a Veil is set free and starts to turn Earth's technology against itself. And his next intended victim is Sarah Jane.
Luke, Clyde and Rani fight their most fearsome enemy yet – Sarah Jane Smith – in the second episode of this two-part, alien-busting adventure.
As the Judoon fleet approaches Earth, it's a race against time to stop Androvax. But with Genetech's technology on the rampage, and Rani's parents taken prisoner, can anything stop the Army of the Infinitesimal?
Luke is played by Thomas Knight, Clyde by Daniel Anthony, Rani by Anjli Mohindra and Sarah Jane by Elisabeth Sladen.
The BBC has also hinted at what's to come for Sarah Jane:
The series also features an extraterrestrial girl who can make people play games against their will; a living painting; the inhabitants of a supposedly haunted house; and monsters who want to infect Earth with a strangely aggressive weed. Finally, there is a chance for Sarah Jane to find personal happiness with someone who could be the perfect person to complete her family.
A brand-new website accompanies the third series, complete with a trailer maker, monster hunt, video diaries from the cast, web games and exclusive behind-the-scenes videos.

Most Important SJA News Updated!
For the last few weeks there been a lot of news on the SJA front this time around. Here some few updates what going on.................
For the starters a couple of pictures has been cropping up in last few days:

Another is the updates of SJA schedule in the issue of Doctor Who Magazine reveals the transmission dates/times for the approaching third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures.
According to ANT (a nickname kindly bestowed upon the user on the forum) here's the all important schedule:
Prisoner of the Judoon Part 1 - Thursday October 15th
Prisoner of the Judoon Part 2 - Friday October 16th
The Mad Woman in the Attic Part 1 - Thursday October 22nd
The Mad Woman in the Attic Part 2 - Friday October 23rd
The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith Part 1 - Thursday October 29th
The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith Part 2 - Friday October 30th
The Eternity Trap Part 1 - Thursday November 5th
The Eternity Trap Part 2 - Friday November 6th
Mona Lisa's Revenge Part 1 - Thursday November 12th
Mona Lisa's Revenge Part 2 - Friday November 13th
The Gift Part 1 - Thursday November 19th
The Gift Part 2 - Friday November 20th
It means that from October, the SJA runs twice weekly! The advantage of this is we get double the amount of Sarah Jane goodness every week... but looking at it from another (more negative) angle it means the show is on our screens only half as long as normal - 6 weeks, instead of 12.
Back in the 1980's the BBC ran Peter Davison's Fifth Doctor adventures on a twice weekly basis. Ratings actually improved, initially, through doing this.
So... are the BBC right to double the series up?
Special thanks from the http://www.sarahjanetv.blogspot.com/ on the latest SJA audios comes to life that is; The Sarah Jane Adventures that lead to Handcock securing a contract to pen one of two new SJA audiobooks due to be released on October 8th, 2009.
